Fragestellung(en) der Befragung

All the Faculty members teaching in the Bachelor program of a hospitality management school (N = 61) were invited to participate in a study concerning teaching effectiveness during the lockdown. Forty-six of them accepted to take part in this study and forty-three provided confidential access to the student evaluations of teaching they received in July 2020. Teaching practices were assessed through a questionnaire sent to the Faculty members and through coding the LMS page of their course, and coding one video recording. Regression analyses are currently conducted to determine how different practices (e.g., how often Faculty members sent emails to students, if they used humor, if they constantly presented learning outcomes at the start of the lesson) influenced student evaluations of teaching.
