Fragestellung(en) der Befragung

The 2020-2029 scenarios for the education system of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) deal with the expected changes in the number of pupils, students and degrees in the whole Swiss education system, taking into account the demographic, structural and economic factors as far as possible.
These scenarios, which are based in particular on a detailed analysis of educational transitions, try to take into account the impact of the COVID-19-related health crisis on future numbers of pupils, students and qualifications. To achieve this, a multi-level process was developed over a very short period of time, including: analyses of the impact of the economic situation on past behaviour, analyses of provisional data or related data, collection of information from partners and consultations on the hypotheses adopted.
