Fragestellung(en) der Befragung

The S4D4C project supports current and future European science diplomacy for the benefit of the EU’s foreign policy goals and in particular the development of solutions to global challenges. It is funded under Horizon 2020, coordinated by ZSI and will run until the end of 2020.
In the context of the current COVID-19 crisis, questions such as how international science efforts should be coordinated and what role the European Union’s research and innovation capacity plays in this coordination is more pressing than ever. The dual approach of S4D4C, namely to emphasize on the one hand the advantages of international scientific cooperation and on the other hand a critical stance when observing the actual (suboptimal) use of science diplomacy by national and supranational governments, has received attention. S4D4C has set up an ad hoc task force to investigate and share information on COVID-19 science diplomacy issues.
